Vicky is a respected industry figure and brings a wealth of experience to her role as Sales Negotiator. She is driven by a genuine passion for property and making the sales journey as smooth as possible. Vicky lives in the West End, which gives her a real insight into the local market.
Vicky, how long have you been working in the property industry?
I have worked in the property industry since just before my 21st Birthday. I started off as a receptionist and worked in Mount Florida and the West End for several years before heading over to Paisley. Even while I brought up my children I have kept my hand in property and coming back full time in 2012 felt as if I had never been away from Estate Agency. In 2014 I joined Vanilla Square and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the business grow ever since.
What motivates you the most in your role as a negotiator?
The best aspect of my work is having happy clients – especially when they achieve a fantastic price for their properties, which is happening all the time in this buoyant market!
When did you recently feel you had the most impact on a sale?
I was recently part of a very special transaction, an off market townhouse in Dowanhill. I knew the purchaser from our mailing list and the house matched their requirements perfectly! A deal was done considerably in excess of the Home Report valuation over £1,000,000 to the delight of all parties involved.
Name three great things about working at Vanilla Square.
The Directors of the business are very motivational and make every day fun to be in the office! The entire team is fantastic and we have the freedom to excel in what we do without the ties or restrictions large corporations impose.
How do you relax after work?
I find it a bit hard to switch off, but spending time with my family gives me the most pleasure in life – especially when I can escape to Majorca to visit my mum!!
